Office Manager

We are seeking a reliable, self-driven individual to manage its office functions. This position is responsible for facilities management, routine bookkeeping, purchasing, and assistance with HR and IT. Opportunities exist for assistance in other areas as well such as website community maintenance or game testing. Position reports to Director of Human Resources, but works closely with COO/CFO and supports others as well.

Facilities Management

  • Maintain first class appearance of facility
  • Greet guests and visitors, process deliveries, monitor incoming calls
  • Interface with property manager to resolve facility issues
  • Organize rotating daily lunch program

Financial

  • Perform day-to-day accounting, including transactional input for invoices and credit cards
  • Monitor time allocation compliance, import data to accounting system
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Process and import expense reports using third party system
  • Select and process bill payments weekly

Procurement

  • Manage beverages and snack foods
  • Manage order and receipt process for furniture and equipment
  • Maintain fixed asset system and asset tracking
  • Work to find lowest cost alternatives

Human Resources

  • Plan all employee functions including:
    • Summer and winter events (employees + family)
    • Periodic movie outings (employees only)
  • Assist HR director as necessary, including onboarding process for new employees and management of benefits programs
  • Assist with various research projects and/or special projects and reports

IT

  • Assist with equipment purchasing and setup for new and existing employees
  • Manage equipment repair process
  • Manage and organize IT supplies/stock

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills including experience with Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently
  • Bookkeeping experience (Quick books knowledge a plus)
  • Detail oriented, accurate, good problem solving skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Lead Technical Artist- Characters

Summary of Position

You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the studio’s character art pipeline, identifying proprietary content creation tool requirements, asset standards, best practices, and performance profiling. You will be responsible for designing and implementing smooth workflow and toolchain that allows rapid iteration of assets across the character and cinematics teams.

In addition, you will establish and document content best practices and studio conventions, participate in identifying external technology needs, and assist in the personnel hiring process. This role reports to the Studio Art Director.

  • Have experience leading teams across multiple art disciplines including character, effects, and animation artists

Principal Character Artist

You will be responsible for managing and mentoring the character art team, representing character art at lead meetings, setting art standards, establishing the character art pipeline, and creating high quality character art. This role reports to the Studio Art Director.

In addition, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and recommending new art technologies and approaches that push the studio’s quality bar forward.

Lead Technical Artist- Environments

You will be responsible for powering up the environment art team through tools and documentation, setting art technical standards, establishing the environmental art pipeline, developing procedural and automation tools, and working closely with the art team to deliver high quality terrain and architectural content. This role reports to the Studio Art Director.

In addition, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and recommending new art technologies and approaches that pushes the studio’s quality bar forward.

Technical Sound Designer

You will be responsible for establishing the audio pipeline and implementing interactive audio playback in Unreal Engine 4. Working with the audio director, you will design and implement audio environments as well as the systems that manage and prioritize audio playback. This role reports to the Studio Audio Director.

In addition, you will be responsible for researching and recommending new technologies or approaches that push the studio’s quality bar forward.

Senior UI/UX Designer

You will be responsible for designing, tuning, documenting, and helping to implement interfaces for an Open World AAA RPG, including inventory management, progression, front-end menus, and map. This position reports to the Creative Director.

In addition, you will be responsible for documenting these systems, as well as creating tools for debugging, visualizing, and tuning these systems.

Senior Gameplay (AI) Programmer

You will be responsible for creating AI systems and behaviors for a game using Unreal Engine 4. Your focus will be on character navigation and abilities for enemies and allies. You will work closely with other programmers and other disciplines when designing these systems. You will also be responsible for documentation and for creating tools for debugging, visualizing, and tuning. This role reports to the Studio Technical Director
