Tried cheat, now have game speed issue!

I tried the "=dnamuse" cheat for fun, and although it worked as advertised, it also made the game speed fast/choppy. Pressing the F key speeds the game up even faster. Now anytime I play (without the cheat) the speed is still messed up. Help! Is there a setting in a config file I can reset to undo this unintended change? I'd prefer not to delete and reinstall if I can avoid it.

Btw, AWESOME game. I hope there is a sequel in the future!

The few times so far we've heard of a game speed issue it*has been related to unpatched multi-core AMD computers.* There is a slight timing issue that can appear in many games on such machines.
