How to accsess other sections of game?

Since the product is sorely lacking for instructions, how do I access the other sections of the game with a padlock on them? I can't finish the "Story" section, too hard. I wanted to try some of the other sections like Grinder but I can't load them. I hope you aree not going to say that I have spent $20.00 on a game and they are going to dictate to me how to play.

I agree, I wanted to play this game how I want, not get told how to play! The other day I tried to play it like a game of football, but the game FORCES me to play it like a strategy game. I should demand my money back!

Though if you can't beat the standard story mode, most of the extra levels will be impossible.
