is there ever gone be a patch so that we atleast can play online in co-op or versus mode?
this has been done before in starcraft
so yeah , iam just asking for a online co-op or versus mode whit a map generator or builder so peopel can build there own maps. this would just expand the posability's ALOT more cause i just finishd the story line and wel yeah , thats about it no more challenge besides beating my own score

You mean, your opponent is allowed to click on "Send more of these", while you have the fun of building towers? ;-)



And I'd kill anybody in coop-mode on a map this size, as I'm saving up for a $400 upgrade, and they waste it by building another 3 towers...



Out of things to do? Try the 'Grinder' mode. Fun! :-D

Actually, most co-op tower defense games give each player a section of the map and their own money pool.

thats what i ment indeed
and in versus mode i got something in mind like each player getting his own "line" and you gota build your defence for the wave's (wich are the same for each player ofc) and the last man standing win's the game or when more peopel get tro all the wave's its just a tie or something like that

We love multiplayer games and have several fun ideas for multiplayer in Defense Grid.* It wasn't within our scope to complete multiplayer in the schedule and budget we had to work with, but hopefully it is something we can bring to the table later.

Or it could be made the same way as Creep smash does it. Each player gets separate areas and they both have chances to build towers on their area and options to send creeps to enemy's area, the more creeps they send the more money they get from the distance the creeps have travelled and how strong they are.
