Suggestion: Practice Mode

Hi Devs,
Both myself and my wife got sucked into playing this game and getting all the achievements. Surpisingly both my 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son also enjoy the game both slowly working through the story mode (doing better on the linear maps opposed to the puzzle maps).

I was kind of surprised my kids not only liked it but mastered the game. Can I suggest you add Practice mode to all the maps? They love this mode the best as it lets them build lots of guns and upgrade them.

That's great to hear, and we're thrilled that your whole family is enjoying the game.* I'll let the design folks know about your desire for practice mode on each level.* I think the goal was to make sure that there was a large variety and they sprinkled the practice mode on levels that they felt people would want to practice the game more on.* There are also some cheat codes out there that can help make a level easier.* One typically can't save the progress once a cheat code is used, but it can help in the case of the kids. :)

That would be great.

I actually think the game is child appropriate - you destroy aliens/robots/monsters, no little people to explain away, no blood or gruesomeness, great strategy/puzzle game for kids and finally its a really polished game. The best Tower Defense game I have seen. I hope it sells well and please make an XBLA version :)

I like the variety but there's only one map with green towers only. Yeh some maps would be impossible to win, but there's still scores to beat.

Might I suggest allowing the practice mode before having completed story mode? Leaving story to unlock the additional challenges... I've already got gold medal on all story modes, so going back to practice mode now seems... silly...

It may already be that way, I forget.... but I only see practice mode as being worthwhile prior to finishing story mode, for those struggling to come up with a good strategy... just a thought :)

The XBLA version is on its way.* It takes a long time to make its way through the system. :)
