How do i play?

I've started the game, clicked play and clicked the first level but nothing happens ingame.. I have no resources to build towers, nor are there any aliens coming out of wherever they come from...

how do i start?

The first level progresses with the AI character giving you a little backstory, some on-screen hints telling you about moving the mouse and mousewheel, and then just before the first drones come out onto the level, you are given resources.* This is what is supposed to happen.* If it's not happening for you, that would be a first that we are aware of.* If that isn't happening, let me know and we can figure out what may be going wrong with your game.
