First of this most be the best game for years I've seen. Heck, I wonder why this game costs so little (7,99? 4,99? should be 24,99, if you ask me) compared to something new like crysis 2 or such huge titles as game is much better in multiple ways than these 50$ titles. Heck love the voice acting, heh.

Sadly there's 1-2 issue(s) I haven't been able to solve which is getting really annoying.

Hardware:
C2Q 9550
ASUS-P5E
ATI HD5850
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 CL4
800W

Problem #1:
While pressing 'F' to speed up the process in game the aliens gets past the towers while at 'normal'-speed mode they never get past the towers with same amount of tower.

Re-produce:
1. Build any tower amount exactly capable to destroy wave in normal speed (for example 2 tesla's and 3 first waves of most of maps.
2. Test this while 'F' is pressed over wave.

Problem #2:
Towers displayed does differential amount of damage than the towers out of screen.

Re-produce:
1. build exactly same amount of towers to 2 parts of map which deals exactly same amount of damage (best with maps with 2 entry points and same type of aliens).
2. Keep display on first entry point and check the results.
note: This bug seems to be a bit weird to track down, but it's there. Most notably on 'Cannon Towers' not realizing there's target.

Seems problem is in latest updates as well as in original.

Thanks for the feedback! The first bug we know about but would be huge to address sadly. It isn't related to fast-forward, but fast-forward enhances the issue. Typically when aliens go through towers when they shouldn't it is because there is a dense group of aliens together. As they are pathing, they bump into each other, in order to have their own space they are then spread out a bit so they don't get too close. The code that does this, sometimes - rarely, but it happens - will separate aliens apart and put one alien on the other side of a forcefield. Once it is already through, it decides to keep going and make its way to the cores or exit. We've looked at it before, but our ability to fix that one without a major rewrite of the game just isn't available to us.

The second one is interesting and I haven't about heard it before - I'll pass it along to the staff.

Well, I wasn't exactly expecting an patch after several years of release, heh. Just an notion since on the 'expansions' this is really bad issue.

Been looking forward for a sequel with storyline somehow continued, but sadly there haven't been an sequel yet even while it seems there's several 'DLC' or expansions borderlands and resurgence could of easily been made to be sequel. Sad that there's not more of the narrator to drive the game on and PR to drop some hype of the title as defense grid could of been something a lot bigger (I mean humongous hyped title, if it would of made to second edition of the engine, price tag of around 49,99$, hire back the fellow who did original voice acting and hard work showing off like on 'awakening'). heck, I bet people did even buy the DLCs just to keep the game going.
