Some people have asked us if the C.H.A.S. content and the console are going to stay after the ARG is over and Portal 2 launches. What do you think? Let us know your thoughts with a reply below.

Please let us keep the CHAS levels. The first one is great, and the second is amusing.

I don't care about the console, and probably won't touch it again.

Thanks for DG, by the way.

I thought all games that got updated with portal 2 content, will remain in the game (after all, the developers worked to make this content, so why remove it?), unless you want to release it as a paid dlc, which is entirely your call.

I've enjoyed both tony's training and c.h.a.s levels, even the console mini games and I wouldn't mind paying for this as a dlc, though it wouldn't hurt to release some free content once in a while for the community that supports you.

err... removing it? are u serious... this would disappoint a lot of people...
better offer a complete CHAS as a DLC with "complete content"
make a few more maps to fill it in and continue the story...
CHAS as a catagory... has only 2 maps... which is kinnda ==.=="
by the way if the 2 CHAS maps are the "the last wave"... I find them too easy... compare to the other ones...

Totally agree. I realise there's not many replies on this subject thus far, but the extra levels aren't largely marketed - of the five people I know who have Defence Grid I was the only one that noticed the tie-in and subsequent extra maps.

Besides which, what would you do with them if you removed them? Put them into the incineration chamber?

Thanks much for your responses (keep them coming if you have something to add). We have no plans to remove the levels, so continue to enjoy them and share that they are there with your friends. :)

No...definitely not, The Chas levels are great! please do not contemplate that. and the console and everything is quite a bit of fun.

Thanks very much for the time and effort that went into making them!

I like the console with the little minigames and a bit of character background. I'd like to see it expanded with us being able to find game unlocks - little things like different alien and tower graphics, or some more game modes along the lines of Poison Core and Grinder

Borderlands only has 4 maps, but it was enough to call it a 'chapter'. I think C.H.A.S could do with at least 2 more maps to round it out.

 Grinder and Super Grinder modes were a lot of fun. Any chance an upcoming map could support them?

ps. I meant to say thanks also for your continued development for Defense Grid. It's my favourite tower defense game!

Iv really enjoyed this content. The map maps have been great fun but the console went over my head, tbh had to look up the solution on the forum so wouldnt be to disappointed if the console went

of course they should stay!

both levels are a new twist on gameplay, well designed, and a fun challenge. why should they be removed?

I am always looking for any additional Defense Grid content to add to the game, I think that any Map that is EVER added should most certainly stay. :) Well unless it's just sucky and everybody agrees that it is sucky and I don't think that will happen because I don't think you guys know how to make sucky maps. :)

On the Steam PC version, new content was added under the Play menu and it is called C.H.A.S standing for the Center for Human Annihilation Studies
