    Achievements: What do they mean?

When I click on achievements from the menu, it takes me to the Steam community page. If I click on My History, then it shows me what recent achievements I earned for whatever game.

But how can I see what the achievements are and why I earned them? Or how to earn the ones I haven't unlocked yet?

More info / data on achievements

Thanks much for asking the question.* It can be hard to find the stats and achievements if you are new to Steam.

When the Steam overlay first comes up you are presented with the user's "Control Panel" which as you say, lists the history of you and your friends on what has been happening.

If you look to the top of the right column on the Control Panel overview page, you'll see info about you such as "Member since:", "Steam Rating", "Playing Time" and then an entry for your steam games including the most recently played which should say "Defense Grid: The Awakening."

Right under that you should see a link that says "View Stats".* Click on that and it will take you to your Defense Grid Stats page on Steam.

Here you'll see a bar graph showing the percentage earned of achievements and two tabs - one called "Records + Stats" which shows a ton of details about your aggregate play over time*- what towers you like to build, what level of upgrade you tend to choose, etc.

The Personal Achievements Tab is the place that has the information you are looking for.* It lists each achievement with a color icon for those you have earned and a black and white icon for those you haven't and a short explanation about the achievement.

For the record, some achievements require you to play an "advanced" mission which means any mission after the first four (which are considered beginning missions).* We could have clarified that better.* Additionally, some achievements, such as beat an advance mission with only Gun Towers require you to not sell any towers during that mission - that wasn't explained very well either.* Other than those two things, I think most of the explanations cover it.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Jeff
