bug: leaderboard and checkpoints
On the leaderboard it shows the cores left and towers built for the current game you did, not the one you got the high score with. So if you just let all the cores go and build 0 towers, it will look like
0 0 oldscore
Checkpoints are warping as with the aliens.
When the checkpoint hits it looks like this
= is aliens
| is the radar bar
| ...................................... = = = =
when you reload the checkpoint it looks like this
| = = = =
This not only loses you a lot of interest, it also makes aliens and flyers come out instantly after the checkpoints.
For example the last checkpoint on last stand.
The first time you hit the checkpoint you have time to build the missile towers also check the score when it hits | = now go back to the checkpoint and you will see the flyers come out straight away, and you have lost resources at | =.
Also i think using exit and continue also does it as my exact same setup had lost resources, and i had replicated it a few times before and it was the same each go.

Ok, a few different issues here.
First, I think you're talking about the Xbox 360 version - is that correct?
Second, when the checkpoint bar moves forward (does a "wait-skip")*it automatically calculates any interest you are due and adds it to your resources.* If we decide nothing is happening and we're going to bring in the next wave sooner, we don't penalize you in resources for it.* What could be argued is that we don't move any loose cores along the road any farther, but that's the only change that I'm aware of.

I was trying to explain it, but i think pc version has the same bug.
Yup it does, good Now i can fraps it.
As you can see by the video when i first hit the checkpoint there's a good 10 seconds till the flyers come out and a score of 29366 when the first flyer hits the radar line, there's nothing else on the map btw.
Then i use back and the checkpoint loads, but now the flyers are coming out far sooner then where the checkpoint was and the score is now 27992 when the first flyer hits the radar line, so there you have it, and when this happens in earlier checkpoints it cost heaps of resources in the long run
It may not seem like much but using the exact same setup and build while avoiding the checkpoint i got my score from 300k to 350k on last stand, so it actually does make a big difference.
This doesn't happen on all checkpoints btw, roughly half i'd say, so it should be easy to work out.
Oh btw an impossible score has emerged on the map the long descent 35600. It just isn't possible, i checked using cheats on pc Even ignoring the 53 towers, even if it was 10 towers, still not attainable.
I don't think he cheated either from his response, it seems to be a bug.
Like the game giving 2-4 people perfect scores on resource challenges which again isn't possible.
Was this fixed? Was looking at the dlc.
