Questions Re: PC Version

FYI: Created NEW Forum Topic only because I wasn't sure if this ended up in the correct place originally: First of all ... thanks for a very entertaining and GREAT game, I'm having a bLaSt!!! Just wondering though: 1] Is there a reason I don't see the newest Patch [1.1 or if there is another more current one] somewhere on this website site to download it? Shouldn't it be here? 1b] and is it even necessary install unless I'm having sound issues? 2] I continually notice on every map and every challenge mode I replay that my new high/higher/highest score is NOT recorded. It stays the same as my previous high score even though I may be awarded a new medal. Is this a known problem or unique to me? 3] Lastly ... shouldn't my preferred settings [such as music and voiceover OFF] still be intact when I restart the game at a later time? Because it's not. [It would also be nice if the program would remember which map I was on the last time I played instead of always going back to the final "Infiltration" map ... just a thought] Thanks again for [IMHO] the best TD game currently available ... <u>Updates</u>


With respect to updates.* There have been two updates.*





The first is*an update for the Aspyr boxed version that only addresses an audio issue for some people.* If you don't have the audio issue, you don't need the patch.* They do host the patch on their web site.





The second update was for Steam users and is automatically applied via Steam and not something you need to download manually.*





The greenhouse version does not have an update.* The Xbox 360 version has an update that is coming soon and will automatically be applied.





<u>High Score</u>


If you have the Aspyr boxed version of the game, the game*is supposed to display*your highest score ever.* On the Xbox there is an issue where it shows your most recent score, but that is a bug that will be fixed in the update.* On Steam, worldwide leaderboards are used.





<u>Preferences</u>


The preferences are supposed to be recorded for the PC version of the game regardless of which version you get (Steam, Aspyr, Greenhouse).* Both Greenhouse & Aspyr however changed the location of the save games and preference files from where we originally put them, so there may be issues with settings being remembered that we aren't aware of.
