    Digital download from the developer

    Hiya

I think it is great you've managed to skip the publishers and go with digital download only. However, I don't like the digital download services Steam and GamersGate because they are DRM in themselves. I have to rely on their servers being on forever. I don't like that thought, I want to play my game forever in theory. Is there any way you can provide a way I can buy the game directly from you like I did with World of Goo?

    Thanks!

    Interesting suggestion

At the moment, we're just on Steam and Direct2Drive with hopefully some other locations being added as well.* If for some reason Steam or D2D ever go away (and assuming we're also still around), we'll make sure you'll be able to play the game.

Hi, this is anonymous (check my IP if you like).

Now Steam has increased their prices furhter. It used to be 140 NOK (20 USD), now it is 20 EUR which is 200 NOK. No buy for me. Could you please just set up a buy wth paypal link here, so I can get an email from you containing a serial and a link to a zip file? And a fair price.

We are in a financial crisis and now you see how Steam messes with Europe, a lot of people boycot Steam now. And you are just a small company! You never know who comes out alive after all these years. I want my games available offline.

Also, how are you going to verify I have bought a game on Steam when I have no serial etc and you have no contact with Valve? Say Valve shut down.

    Is it available again?

Is it available again on D2D? If so, I'd prefer to buy it from there. Can't seem to find it on the site though, which leads me to believe it hasn't been reposted yet.

Purchasing is through Steam or D2D

    Hi,

The price situation is one where the Steam folks are including VAT that they have to collect in the UK and Euro prices.* Some people have said that they are getting charged VAT even after the price - the folks at Steam don't believe that this should be happening.* If it is, please send us a screenshot of it adding VAT on top of the prices that now include VAT (that's why the Euro price is higher, it includes VAT).

    Well, I *can* understand if

Well, I *can* understand if you need DRM, and are worried about casual copies. Surely I don't need to remind you of the wild success of "World of Goo" or "Galactic Civilization I/II", lacking any DRM.

But it's okay, really. I'll simply buy it, download a crack and am happy. However, right now I do not have internet access from home, for quite a while. I nearly drove to work on Sunday, just so I can order and download the game right away - and now it turns out I won't be able to play it anway...

Is there any chance at all of simply downloading an EXE/ZIP, getting a serial number, and paying you right away via PayPal? If necessary, I'll even pay more - I'd really love to play the full game.

    Ciao,
    Klaus

    Greenhouse version

    Hi Klausbruer,

The Greenhouse version has a one-time activiation and then that is it to my understanding.* Hopefully that can work out for you.

    Yaaay! Just went there,

    Yaaay!

Just went there, paid via PayPal, downloaded, got a code and the (install)EXE - bingo!
Thanks! So, I guess I'll leave work a little early today ;-)

By the way, you might want to write this on your main page - together with a big, very noticable "DOWNLOAD" button. I actually had to search for it...

    Ciao,

    Klaus
