Ragdoll physics
Now, i know this isn't a top priority, but considering everything is going that way, any chance of seeing ragdoll physics for aliens in Defense Grid 2 (which i'm gonna buy the same second its released
) when they get killed?
I'm talking about death animation which is currently pre-animated, but i'd like to see it fully dynamic for extra carnage.
Machine gun would throw them around randomly in the direction of fire, flamethrower would blow them away, canon even further, meteors would throw them in all directions. And it would be fun to watch aliens to drop from several levels higher down to the bottom levels, bouncing off edges and then sliding down the slopes and so on.
It would just make it a lot more fun than it already is. And corpses should remain on the ground for longer time and remain affected by weapons. And all this should be possible to tweak in settings (corpses time and physics itself) for systems that can't run this. However, those too weak won't be able to run it anyway (as i've found out on Aspire One).
