Intermittent crashes when starting a mission

Hello,



I'm experiencing intermittent crashes when starting a mission. More specifically when I'm on the Mission Selection screen and I click the Select button, the computer will crash to a blue screen and then reboot.



This appears to occur randomly, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.



Although it stops happening completely when I disable SLI in the NVIDIA control panel.



Details of my computer are as follows...



MB : Gigabyte GA-K8NPRO-SLI

CPU : AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+ S939

RAM: Corsair 2GB PC3200

GPU : 2 x Gigabyte 7600GT (SLI)



I have the steam version of Defense Grid. I'm running Windows XP SP3, I have the latest NVIDIA drivers (v197.45) and I'm running the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer (v1.1.4). The computer is stable and the temperatures of the CPU and GPUs are within normal thresholds.

Defense Grid has a known issue when in SLI mode with NVidia hardware. At the moment your only solution is to disable SLI when playing Defense Grid.
