Cheat codes don't work at all...

I purchased the PC version of Defense Grid: The Awakening last spring and have enjoyed it thoroughly since then.

I have not finished the game yet as the final level just seems beyond my meager capabilities so I decided to find cheat codes for it so that I may finish the game. I found the cheat codes posted here on the forum but unfortunately cannot seem to get any of them to work.

I installed the game using the exe "defense_grid_windows_r1.exe" onto Windows 7 Professional on a DELL XPS16 laptop. I cannot seem to find any version number in the EXE or in the game so that's all I have right now. I can play the game just fine and have no other issues. I am attempting to use the "dnamuse" cheat code to get more resources on the later level but nothing happens. I've tried entering both "=dnamuse" and "4dnamuse" while playing the level to no effect.

Am I entering the codes incorrectly or is there an update that I should have?

Instead of using cheat codes, why don't you just go to YouTube and search for some vids of the level you are trying to beat. Usually the starting setup of your towers is the most important and you can watch how others do it. I mean, seriously, why would you want to use cheat codes on a game like this? It's all about the strategy and the difficulty challenge that make the game interesting after all...

=dnamuse should work.* My expeirence is that works during any level.
