Xbox 360: Glitch in Map Packs? Disappearing Act

Hello,




Anyone else run into the following symptoms?

In order for me to get everything back to normal, I need delete, then re-download the map packs. It's happened about four times already.

We've seen this happen in the situation*where the user has their profile and/or save games*on a slow memory stick and they go through the menus as fast as they possibly can.*





What ends up happening is that the game thread moves forward before the text loading thread is complete and then text will be missing.* This only happens if the DLC text is added to the regular game text.





In theory, if you wait a second or two more before pressing "push the start button" or move your profile to the hard drive, then you should have text on your screens going forward.*





When we released the game executable (which hasn't changed since 2009), memory sticks weren't part of the test matrix, and the DLC loading times weren't known.** There shouldn't be any missing file issues.

Just wanted to report that moving my gamer profile from my MU to my HD did the trick.
