My name is Sal I created a thread on Steam called Awakening Real #1 scores. Your score on the Last Stand grinder was excellent and was the first of my many real #1 scores. I agree this is a great game and derves more attention from the excellent HP. Team. Reality is Counter Strike is where the money is its a shame. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for giving me such and excellent score to chase 2,700,000 with no working command.
To Jeff. the player MMXZEN is an obvious cheater! DG is a great game. The fun of the game is to try and top the leader boards. If these new cheaters are allowed to continue. the game will be ruined and you will lose sales and money. why should we buy new

The problem isn't that I'm keeping known information from you, but rather I don't have all the final details myself.
I will say this - there is new Defense Grid content coming soon, both some free content, and some premium content. We're excited about both. We still have Xbox certification ahead and an attempt at a simultaneous ship on both Xbox 360 and Steam, but hopefully things will go our way and there will be an opening sooner rather than later.
I'll share more when I learn myself what our details, dates and prices will be.
Sorry to cause you to wait longer. I'll let you know as soon as I learn from Xbox and Steam what is going to happen and when.

Someone with the name Pobst on the Defense Grid steam leaderboard has a score of 65,680. Towers.17 for the map Barrier to Entry Reverse is this you? If so you are Global #1.

Yes, that's me. My leaderboard says I'm #24 though and the ones above me seem reasonable, are they not?
Forgive my frankness. No Mr. Pobst they are not reasonable. If I stretch my imagination as far as possible, and suspend what I know to be reasonable considering all my experience playing your most excellent game almost from the begining since march of 2009 .(over 2000 games played) Then the highest reasonable score can be 75,000.( 66K is more like it) Lets look at the players above you with 75,000 or less. Ragna, Retseh , Pettti Tvovinen, Dani, Ryoshi 1, British Reaper, Abrew33504.
1. These gamers scores are higher then 48,380 towers.2 On the awakening 1st map. As you know that the highest possible score. Notice the inflated towers numbers
Dani - ..................78,205....... Towers.9
Ryoshi 1- .............78,205....... Towers.9
Brithish Reaper -.. ..58,205........Towers.9
2. These gamers scored high then what possible on Resource challenges
A. Ragna scored 92,025 on Barrier To Entry Practice . The highest possible score 68,000 if you use no towers!
b. Pertti Tvovinen scored 74,725 on Barrier To Entry Practice. Highest score 68,000
C. Retseh scored 90,150 Crossedsignals Practice . Hightest score possible 68,000 if you use no towers.
3. Aberw33504 Scored 96,141 24 towers. on Fire Control Story . Get real ! Its a 60K map or alittle more notice inflated towers i use 5 or 6 he used 24? Inflated towers are one of the indications that cheating may be going on.
Congrats Mr. Pobst you are Global #1 on that map.
PS. I thought of one more reason those 24 above you are not real. Xbox is far harder to cheat on and has only a few cheaters. So if we reference the xbox # 1 score for this map. We have Takista's score ranked #1 and appears at the very top of the list . It's 65,140 19 towers

Thanks much for the explanation. Crazy, I expect if you or Takista wanted a higher score than mine you could achieve that though.

Awesome, so there's going to be new maps. That's great, now I can spend more money on DG! Any plans for a PS3 port so I could spend my money on that too? I am trying to own DG on everything possible.
Despite all the recent problems with the XBOX version of DG, I would put $$$ into a Kickstarter fund for a DG2.
Despite being quite poor at DG, It's about the only game I play these days(until ME3 comes out). My humble goal is golds in all modes on all maps.
I've played a lot of tower defence games, outside of dreaded MMO's they are something of a personal fave.
I've been playing DG for the last year with all the DLC and I'm totally hooked.
I've introduced it to another handful of people the last 2-3 months and they are hooked too.
I hope you get enough support to push the sequel out to a broader audience. It deserves some serious dues :-)
