can't play Defense Grid on mac book pro

It seems to start, but then quits unexpectedly... I suspect that the screen resolution might be in question.
Is anyone playing on a macbook pro, intel, duo core, with a screen resolution set to 1680 on 1050...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I will say that we at HPE have played the game on our Mac Book Pro 15" and have enjoyed it a lot!
