There are quite a few tower defense games available for iDevices, but nothing that comes close to the quality and polish of Defense Grid. The iPad is really a perfect platform for this type of game, and I think an iPad port of the existing properties could be quite successful. Just casting my vote!
Would be a bit difficult to transpose the Gamebryo engine to Apple script (can't remember the name of it off hand), would pretty much have to rewrite the game from scratch. Also, no way of knowing if the graphics processor in the iPad could handle something that graphically intense at that higher screen rez. I know the UT engine runs a cut-down version on the iPhone/iPod Touch, but the screen size is much smaller than the iPad, just my $0.02 on the matter. And the same goes with the Droid platform as well, just too much work to get it onto mobile devices, would be much better time spent working on new PC/Console releases IMO.
Maybe there is a chance to develop it, since the iPad 2 is out. I would love to see this game on the iPad...Originally Posted by Mobious

Really guys buy a PC, Sell your IPADS to the homeless for Lint and get a Android tablet with a little understanding you can do more on an Android and Greater things than an Apple OS driven product if you enjoy been locked in a Shiny alloy with as many faults as the rest keep wasting that money and whinging why cant we play this SIMPLE APPLE LOCK OTHERS OUT you want to play something DECENT BUY what covers mutliplatforms of APPS AND GAMES Apple is regressive prasitic.
And watch the Iphone 4 vs SGS 2 Drop Test you apple owners will cry the build quality is quite substandard for the price apple begone.
