So I just returned from a week-long trip, during which I had the great pleasure of playing Defense Grid for 15 hours on my laptop. (I had copied my progress/save game files from my desktop to my laptop before leaving.) I did not have internet access where I was, so the whole time I played I was offline.
When I returned home, I first logged into steam on my desktop; I wanted to compare what my old scores looked like before updating to the new ones.
But then, when I logged into steam on my laptop a few minutes later, suddenly everything changed. The 15 hours I logged playing Defense Grid on steam while away didn't show anymore - the number of hours was the same as on the desktop, before I left.
The worse part is, none of the high scores I spent forever refining are showing up. On levels I've played dozens of times it says I have no leaderboard entires. Also, my player statistics - such as total damage done, resources collected, interest earned, total # of games played, et cetera - have not updated at all either.
What gives?
I absolutely love Defense Grid... It's easily one of my favorite games of all time, and definitely my favorite game now (and the for the past year)... but this is very frustrating. I was really looking forward to seeing how my scores and stats improved over my trip. PLEASE let me know if there's ANYTHING I can do to recover to my hard-earned stats and scores!
