When I launch the game I can hear it playing but my monitor stays blank. Using a laptop with Nvidia Go7950.

    Hmm, haven't seen this.

Can you send a DxDiag report and a sysinfo report to info <at> hiddenpath .com?

Where do you not see things?

Do you not see the game from the very beginning, or do you not see the game after starting a game in the menu?* Do you see any HUD in the game?* Is the screen active or is it fully shut off as if a screen saver had disabled it?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

As soon as it launches the screen flickers and then goes dark. I can see that the backlights are still on and I can hear music playing. When I move the mouse around I can hear it going over the different buttons.

    Fixed

Hello! I got your email reply about changing the config.ini file and as soon as I opened the file I saw the problem. The resolution was set to something that my video card doesn't support. I changed the res to my native res and wala, it works. Thanks again for all your support!

    Whew!!!

I'm so glad to hear that solved the problem.* We'll have to look into why the game chose a resolution that wasn't from the Windows list.* The game*requests to get a list of available resolutions from Windows and then uses one of those when it initializes.* It sounds like that failed in some way and then it defaulted to a resolution you didn't support.

Can you tell us what resolution it was set to - and what resolutions your machine actually does support?

    The game was set to

The game was set to 1280x720. I didn't recognize that setting so I changed it to 1280x1024 and it worked. I can select that setting (1280x720) but I don't know if my video card actually supports it.

Anyway, now I have it set to my native resolution and it works. A bit slow on the laptop, but playable.
