Not earning resource interest end of Height of Confusion

I am trying to improve my high of 120K on height of confusion. yet for the last about 10 times that i have played it....my interest stops accruing when the 8 crashers are coming in. i will hit around 58-60K in spare resources....and still be gaining interest. but then it stops. and it is costing me resources. just a bug?

If interst is stoping before 1 min after the last alien is on the board and provided there are still some remaining unkilled aliens on your board you may be bugged. If this is the case good because your getting close to my real #1 score of 136k. Just Kidding good luck and nice score 120 k! Come to think about it what may be happening is the last alien may be entering the board and then taking a long time (lONGER THEN 2MIN?) to get to the cores due to your long maze and aliens may be slowed even more by your temporals.You think since the last alien has not reached your cores surely the interst sould still be going but not really.

When the last alien (Crasher) is on the board you should have about a min or 2 of extra interst. If the aliens die before the interst ends you will still get the extra intrest added on to your score as if you juggled them until interst stops. Actually the faster you killem the HIGHER your score will be.This is because you get the full interst on all killed aliens for the extra aloted time .For example 8 Crashers (WIth fully upgraded command are about 750 points a pop) 8 x 750 =6000. Now the interst on 6k for a full 2 mins. will be higher then if you killed them slowly.
