Frequent crashes

Hi all, I really started to love this game. The bad thing is it very often crashes on my machine. Not only the game crashes, but also the underlying Vista. I have to do a hard restart of the machine to get it working again. I think it only happens when the story teller explains something and I click a mouse button the wrong moment. This game is the only software that ever crashed on my machine. So I think its really this piece of software. Are there any known problems with Vista 64, SLI or copy protections? We are currently only aware of 3 things that can cause your game to crash.





1. Older video drivers can sometimes lead to crashes.* Solution: update video drivers to the latest version.





2.* Two audio devices are present (for example, audio on your motherboard plus an additional sound card).* The DirectX audio engine we are using has been seen to crash if more than one active audio device is present.* Solution: disable the audio device you are not using.





3. As the game uses DirectX, some users (who are usually game developers themselves) have debug libraries of DirectX that are from a different version than the game is using.* This can sometimes cause crashes.* Solution:* Ensure that you have an end-user retail version of DirectX from June 2008 or later.
