Defence Grid wont start (steam)

When i try to start the game i get this message;The game is currently unavailable, Please try again at another time.

Please help!

Usually that is a steam problem rather than a game problem. Make sure your steam is set to online and not offline, make sure you're connected to the internet. And if neither of those work, try deleting the Clientregistry.blob file in your Steam directory (Steam will create a new one). Usually those are the most common solutions.
