How about something for Nintendo's Wii U?
Have you guys been thinking about the Wii U and the Wii U's eShop?
I think it would be a pretty cool console to make a new innovative and fun Tower Defense game for.
There are a lot of fun possibilities with that new Gamepad too. Use it for upgrades, scan the battlefield, orbital bombardment. Imagine taking control of a tower on the tv and the first-person view comes up on the Gamepad screen, then you move it around firing the weapons at ground and air based enemies in all directions etc.!
And a possible 2-player vs mode. One person uses the tv screen and in regular tower defense style sets up his towers and defenses and the second player using the Gamepad is the attacker moving through the tower maze in first-person attacking towers and helping his army make it through. When their turns are over they could switch controllers. Defender becomes attacker and attacker becomes defender.
There could even be some kind of 2-player co-op mode where one player works on the tv screen and the other on the Gamepad.
Anyway, just some thoughts. I'm sure you're considering lots of possibilities. Take care!

Hello again, HiddenPath folks!
I'd love to see the DG: Containment DLC come to 360, but I completely understand why it never will. So with that out of the way, I'd love to see Defense Grid: Containment (a "gold" edition containing DG + all the DLCs + Containment) come to the Nintendo Wii U eShop! And great news, Wii U now supports GameBryo! http://wiiudaily.com/2013/01/gamebry...ming-to-wii-u/
Anyway, really looking forward to playing Containment sometime and experiencing the story. Thanks and have a great week!

Consoles are not the proper forum for strategy games imo. Sid Meier's stuff on the console sucks- should be under mouse/kybd control as far as I'm concerned. Likewise, I won't by Borderlands 2 on PC- to me, that belongs on the console because of controller ease ( I hate mapping macros and crap). Plus, I hear from devs that XBL and the like are a huge pain in the @$$ to deal with. I would rather HP spend more time/resources developing new content on PC than wrestling with more of the same on Nintendo/XBL. Though I'm glad 360 had DG available since I had some issues with the game and my old sound card way back when. I wasn't *too broken up to find out Containment wasn't available on XBL. Just gave me a reason to come back home. =)
