Mouse movement / click does nothing in game

I bought this game +DLC today. Once the game starts (i.e. I click on Story for the first map and it gives me the instruction "move the mouse to pan the view") the game stops responding to the mouse. If the game is windowed then I can move the mouse cursor outside the window but it won't do anything inside. Also, I can hit ESC to bring up the menu but then can't use the cursor keys or the mouse to select any options, so I have to just alt-f4 the game. I have tried deleting local content and reinstalling. Please help!

Hmm, haven't heard of this happening before, so something new. Some questions - do you have any interesting peripherials on your computer, or do you have touchscreen support? Also, send us a dxdiag.txt output file from the DXDiag program you'll find on your computer to info <at> hiddenpath <dot> com.

No just have USB mouse and keyboard. Don't have touchscreen support as far as I'm aware. Sent you the file with email topic 'Lttlefoot dxdiag'

I'm having this exact problem too. I have control of the mouse cursor when I'm in the menu after loading the game, but once I select a game and go into the 3D world, I lose all mouse control. This is the same in fullscreen and windowed mode.

    Some basic dxdiag info:

I tried to run the game on another machine with the same results. The only obvious similarities between the two machines are that they are both running Win 7 x64 and have AMD video cards.

Ok, the interface HUD UI Preference defautls to "Touch". If you set it to Auto Detect, that seems to fix the problem!

Thanks, that fixed it for me too. (Shouldn't Auto Detect be the default?)
