Define and document the desired functionality of a systemic toolchain capable of generating baseline sequencer content for a large volume of narrative content. Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Create AAA quality terrain environments, and biomes as established by project art and design direction
      • Create highly polished, efficient, and visually engaging models, textures, and materials for terrain environments
      • Collaborate with designers and artists to rapidly prototype levels and test out ideas
      • Work with technical artists and engineers to refine content pipelines, develop best practices, and identify technical needs to help keep terrain creation streamlined and efficient
      • Optimize terrain for performance and memory

Nice to Have:

      • Experience with 3d Modelling and texturing
      • Experience with SpeedTree or similar procedural vegetation packages
      • Experience with Substance suite, Quixel suite, Megascans or similar texturing/asset packages
      • Familiarity with photogrammetry, procedural content creation and PBR workflows
      • Familiarity with Confluence / JIRA / Perforce

Senior 3D Animator: Bipedal Combat and Navigation

Hidden Path Entertainment is seeking a Senior 3D Animator: Bipedal Combat and Navigation for a AAA, third-person, open-world fantasy RPG that will take place in the Dungeons & Dragons franchise.

As Senior 3D Animator: Bipedal Combat and Navigation, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of motion capture-based combat and navigation animation sets for a wide range of Dungeons & Dragons bipedal characters.

Hidden Path Entertainment is based in the Pacific Time Zone. Employees work a 40 hour week with daily overlapping hours of 10am to 4pm Pacific time.

Requirements:

      • Demonstrate realistic 3D biped combat and navigation animation utilizing motion capture manipulation and key frame animation skills (shown on your reel)
      • Strong understanding of combat timing and animation quality for combat video games
      • Excellent understanding of animation principals – timing, weight and staging and how they affect navigation and combat in a 3rd person gameplay character
      • Excellent Maya knowledge
      • Comfortable using UE4/5
      • Able to take animation from concept to game engine implementation
      • Strong collaborator that is able to develop branching animation workflows with other disciplines including: Engineering, Design, Concept, Character Art, and Animation Tech
      • Experience testing animation content used in game (UE4/5)
      • Shipped at least one AAA title preferred
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in game animation

Nice to Have:

      • Directed or involved in previous motion capture sessions
      • Deep understanding of fighting styles
      • Knowledge of state machines
      • Understanding of character face animation
      • Knowledge of working with physics and procedural systems
      • Knowledge of material/vfx animation
      • A familiarity of Dungeons and Dragons

HR Generalist

Hidden Path Entertainment is seeking an HR Generalist.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources (HR), you will complete various tasks to support daily HR operations, as well as the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. You will assist in recruiting and onboarding, guiding employees through benefits, and representing both the employees and the studio.

Post-COVID, this position will be hybrid on-site in Bellevue WA/work from home.

People Operations:

      • Own onboarding process from candidate acceptance through start date and beyond to effect a highly successful employment start that engages and excites our newest employees
      • Maintain employee-related information in HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
      • Complete off-boarding process
      • Act as conduit to finance team for payroll-related changes and maintenance
      • Answer general employee questions and requests, escalating issues when appropriate
      • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
      • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Benefits Administration:

      • Administer employee benefits and leave, including medical, dental, and vision plans; life insurance plans; short-term, temporary, and long-term leave; disability programs; and wellness programs
      • Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries between employees, partners, and HR
      • Partner with an external broker and internal leadership to evaluate and compare existing company benefits for competitive purposes
      • Conduct employee meetings and oversee open enrollment responsibilities for all plans
      • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all benefits-related documentation
      • Partner with the finance team to ensure alignment and accuracy across all payroll actions associated with benefits and leave administration

Special Projects:

      • Support HR leadership with the development of strategic programs related to employee engagement, performance management, and wellness
      • Craft internal communications as necessary

To be considered, you should have:

      • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
      • 3+ years of relevant experience in a human resources/administrative setting
      • Demonstrated success staying organized while managing multiple projects with various deadlines
      • Demonstrated trustworthiness with confidential information and a passion for data accuracy
      • A self-starter personality who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-based environment
      • Knowledge of human resources processes, employment law and best practices
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • A service-minded approach to work activities and assignments
      • SHRM-CP a plus
